Eligibility Matching
Most clinical trial finders are limited to filtering trials based on condition, location, phase, and the other structured trial data available on ClinicalTrials.gov. The Carebox Connect database starts with that data, but layered on top of that is our proprietary eligibility criteria index that enables us to match patient clinical and genomic data with all potentially relevant clinical trials.
Available in tens of languages, our condition-based questionnaires enable instantaneous clinical and genomic matching/pre-screening to a single trial, a portfolio of trials for a sponsor or site, or the entire global database of clinical trials.
The same clinical trials matching ontology that powers our questionnaires also enables us to offer eligibility criteria filters for physicians and advanced users who prefer to more directly specify more technical criteria with the questionnaire format. Over one million patients and doctors have already used one or more of our hundreds of patient-friendly, condition-based questionnaires.
The matching engine is also available via an OAuth-secured REST API to make condition-based eligibility matching accessible everywhere and embeddable anywhere.
Referral Management
Carebox Connect referral management solution connects eligible patients with relevant sites, then follows up with both patient and site to troubleshoot barriers and determine outcomes.
Driven by a highly customizable communications engine, referrals can be sent (with patient consent) to both the patient and the study site with automated mechanisms for tracking progress on next steps. The site referral includes the completed questionnaire that served as the basis for pre-screening qualification. Sponsors can be notified of the (de-identified) referral.
Carebox Connect referral management can also fully integrate with Study Team, where it is used by trial sites and sponsors, for seamless referral delivery into the Study Team workflow and for outcome capture as the processing of the referral progresses.
Navigation
Carebox clinical trial navigators have interacted with over 250,000 patients to optimize patient experience and maximize enrollment conversion. We’re now converting that experience into digital solutions.
While we continue to offer navigation services as an option for trial sponsors to maximize inquiry conversion, we are also systemically digitizing much of the content that informs our personal navigation into just-in-time digital guidance.
Navigation can be delivered as a turnkey service by Carebox navigators or provided as a software add-on module to extend Salesforce or other CRM for use by any sponsor, site, advocacy group, or third-party call center vendor.
